Finnally

I was in a relationship for six years, if you want to call it that. Wstarted dating in the tenth grade about mid way through. Things were good except when she cheated on me when I went to basic training. I learned to forgive and we went on wit or "relationship".

During our "relationship" I was deployed to england. Now I was 19 at the time and the legal drinking age is 18,so of course I partied alot. Met quite a few english girls and maybe had sex with a few. I know it wasnt right but I was young and now I realze that dating someone at such a young age isnot a smart thing.

During the next few months over there me and the ex talked qite a bit about marraige.At the time I thought it was a good idea. We both made mistakes but we were best friends and didnt want a relationship with anyone else.So when she came to visit I proposed to her in france on the Ifel tower and all that stuff. She loved it of course and figured that we would be together forever.Until I came home of course.

During the six years every week went like this. Monday we were great.Tusday we fought over something stupid.Wednesday thru Friday we didnt get along. Saturday and Sunday make up sex and everything was gravy until the next week.Our entire relationship" went pretty much like that.

So your thinking why would istay with her that long? I tried to break up with her plenty of times. Everytime she wouldnt let me leave until I said we should stay together or she would say she was going to kill herself. So what was I suposed to do but say "ok im sorry, I dont know what I was thinking, I love you"

Then finnally after a drill up north and meeting a beutiful girl that I fell for right away I decided I had enough.When I got home I said lets go to the park and throw a ball around and talk. As soon as we got there I threw the ball so she had to run after it. When she turned around I was halfway to my car. She started to cry and run after me but it was too late, I did what ive wanted to do for six years, it felt great.

After numerous calls we finally ended it and found out she cheated on me alot more that I did.So I didnt feel all that bad.

This is a lesson that all young kids should learn.Yes haveing a relationship durning high school can be great but your stil a kid. Live life to its fullest and when your done and tired of the party scene, then its a good time to settle down.
